To Cannon Beach on winter? Just to get out, really. Wind chill, rain, and sand storm, but managed to get some shots with only a 50 on D300. Not bad.

Man of Honor

This Sunday will be 100 days after a friend of mine, Anto, went home to heaven. He had always been a positive and encouraging person, who had a heart to invest in the lives of others around him, especially young people. The last time I gave up on teaching photography, he out-of-nowhere emailed me of how he loved to see the way I touched young people through photography. And the last moment I saw him in hospital, he still celebrated with me for my new house. Many remember and celebrate his life. Thank you, my friend! Rest in peace...

Holidays 2009

This holiday season we got a surprise visit from Ingrid's parents, yet we evened them up with a surprise pick up at LAX (thanks to sis for the info) with Ingrid's tiramisu for her dad's 70th. Hung out there for the weekend, and then brought them up to the NW for a week. Yes, they filled up our kitchen cabinets with Indonesian snacks.

Long Beach: smallest airport we've been to.

L.A. Friday traffic: tight.

Surpriiisseee... (thank God we only waited for a quarter in the car)

Santa Barbara: brought too much rain from PDX.

Newport Beach: had the sun back for the family pic.

Dawn and David tied the knot last Saturday at Postalwaite, Canby. Cowboy hats and boots in the barn, they just enjoyed and celebrated their day. Shooting for Powers Studios, thanks Ryan for shooting the video.

Easy 35

We went easy hiking the Multnomah Falls for my 35th birthday, and then enjoyed some desserts and coffee at the lodge.
