Last Sunday I had fun second shooting for my friend Ryan Flynn in Seattle. Both traffic and weather were friendly, definitely made up the day. The wedding was at Rainier Chapter House. Kellyn & Joe are sincere and fun, and their family and friends turned the party to be intimate and merry. Here are some favorites...

Kids...

Kids are special subjects at any event, they are full of surprises and innocence. It really isn't easy to capture them, they are extreme - some extremely pacey, some extremely shy. But when we do, they are always cute!
These are only a few favorites, captured during random events of my last week - from a wedding, a Sunday service, a birthday, to a baby shower yesterday.

Thanksgiving

I woke up still in Portland! Unfortunately, Prof John Misny's 2-day family reunion in Utah that I was supposed to cover this weekend has been postponed because he got sick and hospitalized. I really wish him to get well.
Anyway, this morning I woke up with thanksgiving! I have my wife smiling next to me, instead of calling her from my hotel. I ended up re-vowing to her on our pillows. I love her. Now, she has prepared some angel food cupcakes topped with chocolate orange genache, and I the lattes. Nothing's gonna take this moment away from us :) I wish you a lovely weekend, too...

A Fine Farewell

My good friend Cindy has finally found her calling to be an educator in East Java. She took the courage and flew yesterday. The day before, she had a portrait session with me at her beautiful backyard under the St. John's Bridge. I can see her peaceful mind in her smile.
