This past weekend I shot Miriam & Lee's wedding at the World Forestry Center - Miller Hall. It was only 5 hours, but quite an interesting experience. They didn't have cake cutting, bouquet toss, or anything like that. It's all about enjoying the day; about laughing and dancing...
I took Ingrid out watching Kungfu Panda last night. Great movie, great message: "There is no secret ingredient; believe that you are special. There is no accident; you are created for a yours-only destiny." So be yourself!
Last week I had fun shooting The Widjojos family portraiture. They came together from different places; Portland, Chicago, Austin, and even some from Indonesia. It was a privilege for me to photograph such family reunion, to capture images they may treasure for a long time. They booked Pittock Mansion for this private portrait session for a couple of hours.
As usual, I paid attention to kids. I embrace them for always having the joy and finding the time to play.
Special thanks to my good friend, Fritz, who assisted me with equipments, yet had the time to steal some moments like these...
Looking forward to partnering for a long time with you, Fritz. Just make sure I get the copyright!
Yesterday I hungout at Pearl shooting 3 grads: Sandi, Judah and Melissa. The session was hot & short, but undeniably fun! After the session they treated me with an angus-beef sandwich at Quiznos on Love Joy and 14th, for sure it relieved me from the $35 parking ticket I got for not having my front plate on!!! Thanks, guys... you brought the spirit of my youth back on. Wish you all the best for your future!
