I just got new logo, business card & website design! Thanks to my long time best friend, Melly Yu, an awesome graphic designer who works for Cre8 Marketing Group in LA. I owe her a visit now, with a bonus of free portrait session, of course... :)
Cory, my client who is getting married in a week, also gave me some advice on the website. He got some nice web design works in PDX.

Katie + Zac

Katie & Zac got married last Saturday at the groom's auntie's little mansion, which is newly redecorated and soon to be a Bed & Breakfast. Great people, great food, it was a nice backyard celebration I must say.

Allison + Charlie

"Salt water taffy, seashells, adirondak chairs, sand, flip flop sandals, beach grass" - that's how Allison described the wedding on our first meeting. And it was all that, exactly like she pictured it in 8th grade, when she first met Charlie! Finally they got married last Saturday at Pelican Pub & Brewery, Cape Kiwanda. They finger-crossed for the day not to rain, but we got the fog instead, covering the cape and the rock almost all day. It was a fun celebration, and Allison could not hold her happy tears.

Gear Up

New additions to my gear line: the 85mm f/1.4 and the 28mm f/1.4. They had been my dream lenses, and finally they are in my bag! These lenses are the sharpest (with beautiful bokeh) and the fastest out there, meaning they perform well in any situation even in low light. This helps me to photograph even more naturally. I'm super excited to shoot Allison & Charlie's wedding tomorrow at Cape Kiwanda!

Trish + Eric

The rain stopped a bit as I was driving to Columbia Edgewater Country Club, where Trish & Eric got married last Sunday, but it started to shower during the couple's getting ready, forcing the club's staff to move everything inside. Yet it wasn't hard enough to take away their excitement, and the day turned out to be a simple sweet wedding gathering.
