Sweet Lens

I just add a 300mm f/4 to my gear line. It will help me shooting far away in ceremonies with long aisle. Bought it used at Citizens Photo and am loving it! No more space in my bags now...

It's Friday, Jan. 23 at 14:00... just came back from testing the lens, shooting Mt.Hood from Mt.Tabor. So glad to find a couple of birds on their honeymoon :)
This might actually be my first time shooting landscape! What do you think?

Okay, it's 16:00... I got into it! Here are the B/W version...

I think they look like paintings instead. If I'm about to print one, which of the eight should I pick?

[AG]WPJA

A moment ago I just received a membership acceptance email from the Artistic Guild chapter of the Wedding Photojournalist Association called [AG]WPJA. Yay... I feel very grateful, I'm going to the next level!
And for the sake of having pictures on this posting, here are my favorite 3 images from my trip to Indonesia 3 years ago, which I just entered to the Nikon worldwide competition. All of them were shot on Agfa Scala-200 B/W slide films!

Raw rubber distribution through Kapuas River in Sintang, West Borneo.

Left over morning coffee in front of cardboard houses by a suspended railroad in Jakarta.

Kimiko + Michael

Kimiko, a photojournalist, & Michael, a landscape photographer, committed to each other in marriage on the New Year Eve at the Japanese International Baptist Church. It was a sweet simple wedding at a local church, full of love between them, their family and friends. It brought us back to what the union is all about.

Some portraits, kids and details...
